Yeah I spent a while trying to look for specs or anything but it's only vaguely referred to as a " megadrive with sprite scaling" as far as I can tell. The best I found was M2's gigadrive (3ds) spec: https://gbatemp.net/threads/research-m2s-3d-gigadrive-emulator.475800/ - maybe that's a clue about what memory mappings are likely for the scaler but I actually have no idea

@capriciousday@mastodon.social yeah the mark iv clearly is a descendant of this. Having the widescreen support. Extra ram, layers and scaling capabilities would be nice. But understandably it is too for too little
