For anyone wondering why there are an increase in disabilities today, it has a lot to do with recognition of disabilities and requirements to provide adequate facilities/capabilities for those with disabilities... I know many think the ADA has been around for a very long time, but it is almost as young as my son... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americans_with_Disabilities_Act_of_1990 19 - 90... George H W Bush signed this into law. This is how far the Rwpublicans has moved to fascism... we have gone from Republicans enshrining rights and acknowledging disabilities to their president looking to institutionalize everyone that has a disability. 36 years. That is how long it took to go from, "maybe people in wheel chairs should be able to get into a restaraunt" to "If you're disabled you shouldn't be outside." https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2026/06/trump-doj-memo-olmstead-psychiatric-disabilities-institutions-mental-health/
