This cookie-cutter AI-generated thumbnail style is taking over YouTube, including on channels I used to watch regularly, and I'm already sick of it.

Update: I asked Record-ology (image #1) if he's now using AI tools to generate his thumbnails and he wrote back "Yes and I am only partially happy with it…..if I prompt it to add text, brighten the colors etc it still mangles the words on product names etc."

Oh, great. Another channel I used to watch regularly has just jumped on the AI thumbnail bandwagon today ("Rare Classic Cars & Automotive History"). Maybe it's time to start a stamp collection instead.
