My thoughts regarding common language as it pertains to Autistic People... Apparently, it isn't politically correct or most common to use the word *Autist* to describe an Autistic Person. I understand the broader implications, and of course, I myself do not wish to use any offensive terminology (for anything!), and want to comply in general with the evolution of terms, language as understanding changes. However, I rather like the term Autist. It seems regal to me, heh. Not to inflate importance, distract from anything, or 'soften social blows' F that, Y'all. Flutist. Linguist. Pacifist. Autist. These words Make Sense to Me. What word or words with regard to being an Autistic Person make sense to YOU? *cute Dandelion(s) rebelling against the lawn for tax.
