Woodworking question: I made a desk top from reclaimed wood which is of the oily type, possibly teak. It's unfinished and this is a problem since papers placed on the desk get oil-stained. What is a good, preferably natural, way to deal with this? Oil with a drying oil? Scrub with denat alcohol? Scrub with terps? Combination? Shellac finish? Scrub before shellac?
