Solanum americanum (American Black, Common, Small Flowered or White Nightshade) is an herb in the nightshade family (Solanaceae) that can be annual or perennial. Photographed near Ramona in San Diego County, California in May 2022. The two common names American Black Nightshade and White Nightshade might contradict each other.
