@siblingsofthevoid@void.lgbt Yep! Employers in the US typically require a drug urinalysis as a condition for hiring someone. They also can require current employees to take random drug tests.

So many things can give false positives, including dried poppy seed (which is quite tasty on bread) and anti-depressants... not to mention the fact that that goes against so many ethical standards... And how do they know it wasn't just a pill that your prescription has simply run out for? I complain a lot about europe having some insane shit, but somehow The US always has at leastone policy that impresses me in its ignorance lol
