TIL only one oblast on the Caspian Sea is majority Russian. Astrakhan. With the city of Astrakhan being a lot more majority Russian (78.8%) than the oblast as a whole (57%).
If Putin's regime holds on to power & war long enough for Russia to break hard at the end, so hard that border-oblasts/republics with other ethnic majorities can break away - then will

hm. Astrakhan oblast outside the City of Astrakhan is only 52% Russian. That's not a very convincing majority if shit hits the fan.
