@mjdxp@labyrinth.zone You really aren’t. I grew up in the deep South, including out in the middle of nowhere. I’d see confederate flags, but not often. Around the confederate graveyard and statues, but it’d be like one every quarter or so otherwise. The places where I saw the most confederate flags actually flown, and in highest density, has been in conservative Northern areas (like Maine or Idaho — those dudes love them a confederate flag some of them more than lost causers back home.) These people got no connection to it other than conservatism.
