@ifixcoinops@retro.social oh yeah, as a vegan i can report that getting vit D(3) supplements is tricky cause its lanolin very often. A side-rant now we're talking about drinks and veganism: here in the nether regions there's been a sugar tax since a couple of years now. Sugary drinks are more expensive. Boo, but ok whatever. BUT: ofcourse the milk industry got an exemption. So now a carton of chocolate milk doesn't get taxed if it's made from squozen cow, but if you dare to let the bovines in peace and bother some oats or soy beans you have to pay the sugar tax. AND for some reason fruit juices, even without added sugar, dó fall into the tax. So juice companies, and imagine me waving maniacally with my arms at this point despite the early hour, STARTED ADDING TINY AMOUNTS OF DAIRY TO CARTONS OF JUICE TO AVOID THE TAX. Capitalism is a dystiopia.
