@ifixcoinops@retro.social I think the peardrop flavouring *is* isoamyl acetate (I learned this from the instruction manual of a Chinese space heater, which warned against using such things as benzine or "banana oil" to clean the casing, and banana oil is a mix of isoamyl acetate and spiritus (denatured ethanol)
