A few words on the € 💸 update... Back when the Euro was introduced, the question of the design of course was discussed in public quite a bit. I vividly remember people asking "why not have people on them like usual"? And the reply was IMHO a reasanable "we want to show the union of Europe and avoid depicting people, who natrually, can be seen as a national symbol of their country and took bridges as a way to symbolize the coming together..." and now they are back to mugshots on money? ... and the survey doesn't even list the prime options like "It shouldn't depict people" or "too colorful" just weird generic "doesn't make me feel european enough" x.x
