Regardless: the question was not what caused the heart issue, but whether a smartwatch can assist with it. It can.
Just as with falls and the ability to have an emergency button on your wrist ... with a watch.

It took me a bit of time to get rid of it because I used to check ECG a lot (I have arythmia sometimes) but I feel better now without the watch. As you said, it is a matter of choice and my choice was to not wear it.
