The butterfly has landed to refuel and been drinking for 10 minutes now. I‘m going to spend the rest of today reading about butterfly anatomy and finding out where all this water goes…as soon as the butterfly is loaded up and on it‘s way again, because right now I have to stand guard between the insect and a sleeping cat.

We now have progressed to two adults watching the butterfly for 30 mins. and feeding it water. A perfect sunday so far. #butterfly #nature #insects
