@jscholes@dragonscave.space I'm possibly relying a bit more on claude than I do on a qwerty keyboard, I'm not sure, but it's also possible it goes the other way. To be clear I would love to and plan to get the qwerty model if there's a good upgrade path later this year, because I am still faster on qwerty. The braille keyboard is much more intuitive than I expected it to be, but I don't think I'll ever get to 130 wpm on a perkins keyboard like I am on qwerty. When I think about code though I do see it in braille in my head, in my own weird invented braille code that uses dropped numbers and EBAE contractions but UEB parens/braces/etc., so my thoughts about code actually map surprisingly nicely to a device with a braille keyboard and display. I think having a qwerty keyboard and display would maximize it, though.

    @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space Interesting. Bbraille and code have never clicked for me, even just on the output side. Then again I also don't read code with punctuation set to all or tones for indentation either, which I gather are both popular preferences.
