@gloriouscow@oldbytes.space No, it wasn’t. I was there and you’re wrong about it. You had to deliberately plan to share stuff. It was exceedingly hard to accidentally share your whole life’s data to the whole Internet, unauthenticated, for free, with a single drag and drop.
Peer to peer publishing is great. The same with no guardrails at all is not great.
