@gavi@bagel.ing Hanalei is a zebra lady and she's literally a rock star. She has a magenta stripe! In Azuaveria, the land where she comes from, zebras aren't ever born with fancy colors -- just black and white like you'd expect. So her magenta stripe is a body modification, like a head-to-toe tattoo. Bodily autonomy is badass, yo. She's an aspirational figure: always 1 step ahead of me. More accomplished, more assertive, and all that. Being able to dress up as her every once in a while is always a highly affirming experience.
