Just finished Adrian Tchaikovsky’s Children of Time series. Four books (open to more in the future, though they each have standalone plots so no more are needed), and I think the second is the best, but they’re all really, really well written scifi and *hugely* creative. The first 3 won a Hugo for Best Series, in 2023.
