I appreciate your take. It is rare to see this discussed with actual legal understanding rather than fear. The ephemeral vs. persistent distinction is interesting, especially for link-sharing vs. hosting.
And good point on privilege, not everyone has counsel to test these boundaries. I'll stick with my conservative approach for now, but I am curious: given your infrastructure experience, have you explored Funkwhale or similar federated music platforms? Seems like the tech exists, adoption is the blocker.

@TerminalTilt@social.terminaltilt.com Yes, funkwhale is on the long term To Do list. Tonight, however, I am making a link-tree'esque landing page so people can see the totality of services and I am also releasing and opening a Nextcloud and Gitlab that are going to be open for public registration. After that, Element Call and then more on the list lol. Funkwhale is a priority though, maybe Dec - Feb or so ??
