A friend of mine used to plug his vcr in at midnight so it'd blink the correct time.

@FritzAdalis@infosec.exchange Resetting alarm clocks and VCRs at midnight was the only reason to use X10 devices back in the day. Shoot, I still reset cheapo weather stations like this but with ZWAVE now.
