The pegs will tear up shoes, but not too bad (though I frequently wear biking shoes for flats). I got these for the color, though, because biking is about aesthetics first and foremost, no?

That’s from riding fixed and many pedal strikes. The Stamp line now goes to 11 but also down to 0. The Stamp 0 looks interesting because it has plastic nubs not metal pins. All of them are serviceable and I take mine apart to clean and lube yearly. Also, I tried using plastic bolts instead of metal and it’s ok, but I like the grip of the metal better. They do gouge the bottom of my shoes but not much. #bikenite
