Great. Tried doing two different jumper things described in the Mobo manual (including wiping the CMOS memory) and it's still not recognising the effing GPU. Guess I'll try rebooting with no GPU, putting it back in, trying my ancient 730 (or 740, anyway, it's an old passive jobbie) GPU etc etc.
God, I hate computers sometimes.

Ok. So it boots ok (I say OK, it's a 32" screen using VGA resolution) with the GT730, BIOS looks fine. Doesn't recognise the GTX 1080. Guess I'm going to have to check the drivers like it's 1995. Grr.
