@maddad@mastodon.world I think when they are older it's much easier. Our old guy freaked out for a short time, then fully adapted. He loves kibble and we gave treats for not trying to escape, He still loves that. We associated treats with a scratching post far away from the door. When he runs to the post he usually gets a treat.
