You always have to ask who controls the polls, and how afraid are people to tell the truth. We’ve seen it here in the states. Polling orgs have stopped, changed metrics, or done selective polling when they are controlled by the fascists. Even small things like question verbiage can change a decisive “we hate this guy” into a “opinions are mixed”.

Haaretz poll from a year ago shows 82% of Israelis are in favor of ethnically cleansing Gaza. And check out this verbiage: Nearly half (47 percent) of respondents agreed that “when conquering an enemy city, the Israel Defense Forces should act as the Israelites did in Jericho under Joshua’s command – killing all its inhabitants.”
