It is not trivial understanding if/how this information is relevant.
Most users currently navigate by using dynamic IPs and often CGNAT, so that in practice, it is tracked the network (and country) a user belongs to, IFF they are not using a VPN/proxy. Such information is already spread among millions of server logs in any case, often linked to specific credentials and IDs.

To complete the concept, while servers generally retain IPs often for security and/or debugging purposes, profiling is totally another beast, and very few services are able to use such information within recommending systems or other machine learning engines. One of the few is surely Google, but most of the hyperscalers can, and probably already do.
