I use Remington, they are cheap but still good quality. I actually have two, a normal one that can go to 230° in 30 seconds, and one that can straighten wet hair and dry it at the same time, but it needs to prepare for several minutes.

I use an Ion Magnesium Flat Iron 1", and it’s great for me! The temperature control is really nice, and it holds heat well because it’s a ceramic tourmaline iron with magnesium for even heat distribution. I have very fine hair, and it does its job well! I use it for putting waves in my hair, not straightening, but I’m sure it would be great for straightening! The buttons are inside the iron, so you won’t accidentally turn it on/off or change the temperature, but easily accessible when you need to. It also feels great in my hand. I don’t really have any gripes with it, tbh. It’s treated me well for the (relatively few) times I’ve used it

I don’t bother anymore. The curls have defeated me. It’s too much effort to straighten

I bought some random straightener brush from a shop a few years ago and I love it compared to a flat iron. I find the gaps between the brush-prong-things helps grab between my curl strands.

GHD Platinum +. I have been using it for over 8 years now and it’s still working like new. Best flat iron I have ever owned. Only downside is there is a gap on mine between the plates and housing on one side that’s just wide enough to catch a strand of hair sometimes.

The one I used in 2004 to get that Avril Levine hair. Fuck I’m old now 🤣😭😭 But I don’t use it often and it’s not even that great but, it still works which shocks me. I don’t even know what brand it is because that faded years ago. I just realized my ADHD got away from me and I’m completely unhelpful. I’m sorry OP
