@threemaapp@mastodon.social "once data is transferred to WhatsApp, we have no way of verifying exactly how it is processed or handled, particularly because WhatsApp is not open source." would be quite familiar for me using #matrix : "once data is transferred to Threema, we have no way of verifying exactly how it is processed or handled, particularly because Threema is not open source." or with a different take: i can live with the knowledge of a different security level per room. so getting a message before stepping into a bridged room would be cool. so i know that one matrix room is bridged to whatsapp and threema for example. i think the real pain are all those other constrains like "only within eu territory" but we dont want to know where our users are.
