@MiaMarkTwo@syzito.xyz yes true; although it being canada, and the family being middle class, we had several weeks each summer at a cottage on a lake that was reachable only by a 15-minute boat trip; no television, but there were a bunch of books. also swimming, canoeing, fishing etc, but it’s the sitting in the shade reading that i remember.
