What I noticed with anxiety was the cyclical fluctuation; zero most of the time and then super anxious a few days out of the month. So a definite hormonal component. HRT leveled everything out. But I’ve noticed in my mom for example, increased anxiety over the past year, and she just had her annual heating test and now needs hearing aids. I will keep it in mind as I continue to celebrate more birthdays!

@steggy@sunny.garden @Heidiknits@mastodon.social @APBBlue@thepit.social along the lines of your mom, hearing loss also has direct ties to worsening dementia down the road. Romey's mom also needs hearing aids but her capacities might be too diminished for that to be feasible. We are working both issues simultaneously.
