@peter_winninger@bonn.social and it's also absurd that this kind of remarks are only concerning running. No-one would say to a slow walker "you're not a real walker" or to a slow cyclist "you're not a real cyclist". I guess the reason for this is the competitive background that running involves. There are many 5k, 10k, HM and marathons worldwide and many people compete. I even know about senior ex-runners who stopped just because they became too slow with age. I don't get this mindset at all. #running
