From reviewing videos from the protest it appears locals have identified the man killed by cops as Corey D. Ruiz.
The protest crowd could be heard leading the concert goers in chanting Corey's name.

One of the things the cops keep saying is that they used an Axon Taser and it "wasn't effective". They then claim the man they attacked without questioning "slashed an officer with a knife and so he was shot" This all of course ignores the fact that tasers literally make a person sometimes flail or fall in ways a cop might find surprising especially if its only partially effective. Even just the sound of a taser being shot and zapping would make many people flinch involuntarily. #MPD #ACAB
