@justbob@kolektiva.social does the "ban all AI" include people using AI to translate posts for their own consumption? OCR/image description to make up for people not putting alt text? I assume you include any bot account, even self labelled, even providing a useful service, if it's AI powered? When you say *all* i have to ponder, and ended up voting "allow", that doesn't mean all is fair, i do understand cracking down on a lot of uses, but "ban all" seems excessive.

@tshirtman@mas.to @justbob@kolektiva.social AI is not a helpful term for limiting things precisely. I assume they mean generative text though - an LLM - whether it's for describing images or writing code for the server or whatever. I'm not assuming on device OCR counts but again, unfortunately, AI is an awful term when you want precession in your communication so it's up to interpretation here
