@MFennVT@mastodon.world I legit think that Death is my favourite Discworld character. At the very least, up there with Granny Weatherwax. He could have taken the easy route of making him just the stereotypical Grim Reaper, either scary or purely comedic, but instead he managed to make him one of his most multi-layered characters. Even giving him a philisophical angle. Apart from the final speech, the Little Match-Girl scene in Hogfather hits me every single time.
