@gary_alderson@infosec.exchange @concretedog@mastodon.social I'll blame both, but you're right, Microsoft shares a fair portion of the blame here for allowing this sort of thing. I hope this induces an exodus of many open source projects to Codeberg or some other platform that actually cares about our rights.

@wombatpandaa@mastodon.social @concretedog@mastodon.social we will likely see people waking up and realizing that they can diy repo. how much money is really getting scammed from the open source community, i think anthropic just had a 1.5b judgement, the same could happen to ms? possibly, the lawyers will do ok #training material
