@Ilka4You@mastodon.social @Huntn00@mastodon.world you’re right, the influence and holdings of American billionaires (many of whom were not born American and have many other citizenships) stop at the water’s edge and the oligarchy is not a global problem and was created solely by the USA.

I think the AmericanDream lured them in & the lvl of corruption/organized crime intervoven with the government made them what they are 2day. Squeeky clean & prude on the outside, the opposite - #TrumpEpsteinFiles - behind the scenes. No other country could have given them this lvl of success. Even the current GER chancelor tried his "luck" but was so bad he didn't make it like Thiel did, &went back. Now GER has to deal with a dilletante millionaire of their own.
