lol … the effect only worked well on fine hairs, and getting other body parts close to the screen would be logistically tricky. So, funnily enough, I did only ever did it on my arms

I have a small number of fine hairs on the back of my fingers’ first section. That’s the sharpest and most sensitive body part that fulfils the criteria and I think you could “scan” the screen with it. Wild that most households just used to have a 25kV particle (electron) accelerator.
