@baldur@toot.cafe I was just processing the same thought this morning. On Youtube, many critical voices feel like they are fishing for sponsorships. They often have hard criticisms, but always always there is some discordant "balance" arguments in there. Some of them now have segments of "the actually good use case for genai actually"

@helge@mas.to @baldur@toot.cafe if you have a channel with ads, you don't have to go fishing, your inbox floods with them. most are arrant dogshit of course, but there's still a ton of money out there
