@channelOwen@fosstodon.org The CMS we use does so, but with a gap. As long as you create the link using the CMS’ linking tool, it works. If someone just plopped an anchor tag in a rich text field, that won’t be corrected. It maintains a database of links, and it needs the linking tool to keep that up to date.
