@iamada@tech.lgbt @lina@vt.social Aaron Swartz was sued to death by suicide by journal publishers for downloading articles. Turns out he just didn't do it at a large enough scale. There are no words for how angry and sad the situation makes me.

@iamada@tech.lgbt Ah but you see, it's not piracy if it's FOSS, because all FOSS code is effectively in the public domain. At least that's what all the AI people think, as far as I can tell.
