I was reacting specifically to "classify a technology that relies on scraping the works of thousands of creative workers" as the Internet Archive does scrape many websites and scan many books. And similarly to LLM makers, they have both received objections from copyright holders. That was really the point of comparison I was making, the rest of @AVincentInSpace@furry.engineer's points are good objections.
