1) So-called AI pump-and-dump scam companies (which is all big so-called AI companies) will implode, so demand (real or imagined) for DRAM and SSDs by those companies will disappear.
2) The assets of those companies will be liquidated for mils on the dollar, so whatever DRAM and SSDs, etc., that they have actually purchased (not the circular investment in supposed future purchases) will flood the market. Prices will drop to lower than pre-bubble levels due to the glut.

@deFractal@infosec.exchange I don't know when investors will finally stop propping this bullshit up, but in my opinion it can't happen soon enough. I doubt that it will happen before the end of 2026, but I also doubt that the snake oil salesmen can keep it afloat beyond mid-2028. 3/
