One more thing...sorry...but when I got my Cancer diagnosis, I started working on making vis.social sustainable without me.
We have not yet accomplished that. I've been continually building a team of amazing volunteer moderators. They are amazing.
The part I haven't been as good at? It's that I haven't been as pushy about community members helping to cover community expenses.
I would sleep a lot easier if our finances didn't rely on me covering the gap.

Aside from running a community server, it would be amazing if greater fedi folks would actually support artists, and actually purchase artworks. Or buy indie-games. Or buy indie-published books. Spend money on the creations that creative people post here. Or they will stop participating here. They will stop posting daily drawings. They will nope-out, even more than they already have.
