    @etp@indieweb.social I *think* you've discovered MAC reservation, where router fixes IP based on hardware address of network device. ๐Ÿ‘ Pihole will do it too, and may be easier to understand. Suggestion to run a 2nd router is suboptimal (ie terrible idea). Results in double NAT, poor performance and connectivity issues guaranteed esp w VPN. You missed nothing there. My own reply could have been clearer. ๐Ÿคฆ Mea culpa.
