It got to a point that I thought I was getting allergic reactions from whatever was on the mattress, so I decided to start sleeping on the couch in the break room downstairs. New rashes stopped appearing for a few nights until they came back.

The itching was genuinely making me crazy; I'm pretty sure at some point I considered removing the skin with the rashes with a knife. Fortunately, new rashes stopped gradually appearing as often until they basically stopped.
