The journey begins with the same train that got us here last Friday. It even has about the same delay. And no, it wasn’t DB. They dropped it off on the dot in Salzburg both seven days ago and today.

The train terminates at Bratislava-Petržalka but I need to be at central station. My plan was to walk – it’s about an hour straight trough the old town –, but ÖBB managed to push the delay to twenty-five minutes which ate up my safety margin. Luckily, there are busses every ten minutes despite the late hour. And you get at least a glimpse of the city.
