The Odyssey is SO FUCKING GOOD! It's SO fucking good. It's an instant classic. I honestly wept through the whole thing, less because it moved me (though it did), and more because I haven't seen such perfectly crafted storytelling in such a long time. Classics, Literature, and History teachers/professors should cheer for this film, because it took something archaic and meandering, and illuminated the human through line. (1)

So well done. So perfect for our times. See it in theatres. Christopher Nolan might honestly save h Hollywood with this--and precisely because it relies on humans and not tech. It was so fucking ALIVE.
