@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social There was a kid who tried to inject himself into wikipedia for 'publishing' an A.I. slop novel. He was so hell-bent on seeming relevant, he injected himself into wikimedia commons and wikidata by making a family tree of all the people related to this famous author linked in wikipedia. It's quite ridiculous that they think they are actually doing something of value.

@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social Ironically this is exactly why I'm incredibly skeptical of e-books from unfamiliar authors that seem "too cheap". If it's under a certain price point, I automatically assume it's AI slop and won't even consider buying.
