There's people being used to sarcasm and snark and or even bullying in their past and or observance of it, and assuming when anyone inquires further in a given situation that they must be utilising one of those devices.. in order to make fun of, especially in public forum. However, simply needing and wanting to gain more information is a most basic part of life, human thinking, interacting, surviving, thriving.
