Stray thoughts "subtooting" multiple conversations: I don't believe either AI or cryptocurrency are real. People do market products under those names but I believe they are lying about what their product is. I wish cryptocurrency were real. I think if a cryptocurrency existed, it would be of positive benefit to humankind, even if it were in some ways less useful than regular money. But I'm unconvinced if the product marketed as "AI" did the things it claimed to do, that would be a good thing.
