@thenexusofprivacy@infosec.exchange @Sarahp@mastodon.social well, they don't have to just make a buck, they have to make it all worth it to the VCs that now are permanently leading the company and want massive returns for their investment.

in the medium term though they just have to make enough to get the next round of funding ... and then eventually to have a plausible IPO. VCs don't get paid back from profits! @ikuturso@mastodon.social @Sarahp@mastodon.social
